Experience

This route is perfect for beginners because the terrain is easy to manage. There are also great views to be enjoyed at the end of the run to give that extra motivation for the last few hundred meters.

  • Includes scenic sights at Senja-Cashew CC to end off the run

  • Ample hydration points and restrooms along the way

Challenges

  • Beware of cyclists as the PCN is a shared path for both pedestrians and cyclists.
    Suggestion: keep left on shared paths and stay on pedestrian routes where possible

Summary

I really enjoyed this run a lot because it’s a short, simple run in the neighbourhood that also provides really nice scenic views! There are also plenty of places along the way for me to stop at if I need a drink or to rest up.


Coast-to-Coast Route 5/10km

Overall Difficulty: Moderate

Experience

This route is for those who want to visit the Coast-to-Coast checkpoints in the West while clocking in their runs! Expect to experience running through nature and the concrete jungle all in a single run.

Attractions / Perks

  • Experience running through both nature and the city

  • Route can be modified to fit participants’ preferences as the Coast-to-Coast trail stretches for 36km

  • Ample hydration points and restrooms along the way

Challenges

  • Beware of cyclists as the PCN is a shared path for both pedestrians and cyclists.
    Suggestion: keep left on shared paths and stay on pedestrian routes where possible

  • Construction works along the trail may make navigation difficult.

Summary

My favourite part of the route is that the Coast-to-Coast trail stretches for 36km. This means that on those days I want to push myself, I can keep going as far as I want knowing that there’s a smooth running trail already paved out for me. That’s why I continue to run this route regularly.
